How to: Fix a Manicure

So you decide to do your nails late at night out of boredom (or you just like doing your nails at night) and you do an amazing job. Of course you don't want to mess them up so you wait a good amount of time before going to bed. Just as your about to shut your eyes, you check, again, that they're dry. The next morning you wake up and, to your horror, your nails now bare imprints from your blanket! How does it always happen, even when we're so sure they're dry? While I can't tell you how our nails suddenly become wet again, I do have a solution that doesn't require you re-do your entire nail.
  1. Gather your materials: nail polish remover, cotton swabs (one or two should be fine), and your current nail color.
  2. Dip one end of the cotton swab into the nail polish remover. Make sure it's not so wet that it's dripping.
  3. Lightly run the wet cotton swab over the affected area; you don't need to a lot of pressure to see results. Also, you shouldn't have to take off so much polish that you're seeing your bare nail!
  4. Once you're finished, wait for the nail to be dry before apply a light coat of nail polish over the area you just removed.
  5. Viola! Your flawless manicure is back!
PS- I hope you all have a good holiday! Enjoy the food and family :) xx
