- Gather your materials: nail polish remover, cotton swabs (one or two should be fine), and your current nail color.
- Dip one end of the cotton swab into the nail polish remover. Make sure it's not so wet that it's dripping.
- Lightly run the wet cotton swab over the affected area; you don't need to a lot of pressure to see results. Also, you shouldn't have to take off so much polish that you're seeing your bare nail!
- Once you're finished, wait for the nail to be dry before apply a light coat of nail polish over the area you just removed.
- Viola! Your flawless manicure is back!
